I’ve been addicted to the felted wool thing here recently, and Rob loves the felted wool look, so I was experimenting on making him a felted wool hat. Being new to this and all, I’m very unsure of how much bigger than the finished item that a person needs to make things. Here is his hat before felting (He was busy working, so I stuck the hat on him and took a picture — He did at least give me a little smile):

Well, so like I said, this is the first hat that I’ve felted. I wasn’t sure how large I needed to make it. Needless to say, Rob didn’t get a new hat, but Zoe did!! It started out Rob size, and after felting, Zoe has a beautiful felted orange hat.
She’s gotten to where lately she poses for the camea and says “CHEESE”.

This hat was crocheted with Lions Brand 100% wool yarn. For felting, I put the hat in a small HOT load in the washer with a couple pairs of jeans and washing powder (Tide with Bleach). I ran a normal cycle, then put everything in the dryer on high. I take my felted items out of the dryer as soon as it finishes so they won’t cool and wrinkle.

I posted Jade’s Pooh Hat a while back, but never posted the action shots. I only have cell phone pics, because that was all I had with me when I gave it to her. She wouldn’t hold still, so the pics are really fuzzy, but you can at least see. Here is the previous pic I posted of the Pooh Bear Hat:

And Here is Jade modelling her hat:

I crocheted a brown cable hat for my MIL recently. I forgot to take a pic with it before I took it to her, so I took a cell pic as an after thought. Please excuse the low quality pic. I used brown simply soft yarn on this hat, and this pattern.

I crocheted hats for my dear friend Bubba’s beautiful girls. She has given me permission to post their pictures on my blog here. Faith’s hat was crocheted using This Cable Crochet Hat Pattern, and I added a pompom and a RSC to the bottom edge.

Hopie’s hat was crocheted using The Divine Hat Pattern, I added a crocheted flower and a RSC to the bottom edge.

I also crocheted Bubba a birthday present last month, but have yet to mail it to her (I’m such a slacker — BAD ME). I hope to get it mailed tomorrow — A Boba Skull bag. Not quite how I planned it to turn out, but none-the-less…. Here it be:

This is the hat I crocheted for my lovely niece Angelynn’s birthday. I still haven’t mailed it, and her birthday was March 17th. I need to get with the program! Hopefully I’ll get this mailed tomorrow, too! (I’m hoping that posting this will give me motivation to mail it). I used the Divine Hat Pattern to make this hat.
