We’ve had really beautiful weather lately, so Rob’s Dad invited us over for a BBQ on Saturday. Turns out we had SNOW! Rob’s Dad BBQ’d anyway. 
Kristin went with her band class to go ice skating, but the rest of us went to the BBQ.

Last night I just felt like I wanted to make something special for Kristin and Jewell to brighten their day today. I had bought some fuzzy yarn at Hobby Lobby not long ago, and thought I could make them each a cell phone cozy for their cell phones. I just kind of winged the pattern for each of them, but it didn’t take long, and I had finished these cozies. I will probably end up making myself one, too.
Kristin LOVES lime green, so I made her cell phone cozy with this fuzzy lime green yarn:
Jewell’s favorite color is blue, so I made her cell phone cozy blue:
They were both thrilled with their cell phone cozies this morning. It was worth staying up late to finish both of their crocheted cell phone cozy’s just to brighten their morning. Sometimes the littlest things can make a big impact. Not only was their morning brightened, but mine was brightened because they loved and appreciated them so much!

When I was little, I remember my Aunt had a book called Love Is… It was a Peanuts book, if I remember correctly, and it took you through different things that represented love and Happiness… It always reminded me and helped me appreciate the little everyday things that we get to enjoy. Here is my “Love is”…
